Coast-to-Coast Capabilities

For the Prairie State Energy Campus, APi is supplying and installing nearly 1,250,000 SF of insulation and lagging on:

• two side-by-side Babcock & Wilcox (B&W) 800-MW coal-fired boilers
• two B&W Selective Catalytic Reduction Systems (SCR's)
• two Toshiba steam turbines
• two Siemens dry electrostatic precipitators
• four Howden in-line induced draft fans
• associated ductwork.

In addition, API will install approximately 120,000 LF of insulation and pipe jacketing on the balance of plant systems, boiler and turbine piping systems, and two Siemens wet precipitators.
