APi supplied an installed all the insulation, lagging, and pipe jacketing for this grassroots 230-MW coal-fired power plant. APi Construction's scope of work included approximately 185,000 SF of insulation and lagging installed on a new 230-MW Foster Wheeler coal-fired boiler, Wheelabrator fabric filter dust collector, Wheelabrator wet scrubber, and a Toshiba steam turbine. In addition, API provided approximately 13,100 LF of insulation and jacketing on the balance of plant piping for this new plant.
